Lamborghini has released this teaser image today with no details - just a tag line, “It’s not just a new Lamborghini. It’s a new world.” Slightly reminiscent of the Reventon, the image shows a centrally mounted ceramic coated exhaust pipe integrated into the lower rear bumper diffuser which is constructed of carbon fiber. The vehicle will be unveiled in Paris on October 2. Let the speculation begin.

This car seems to have the same angular design as the Reventon, which is an extremely good-looking car. I can't wait to see the whole car!

The reason no-one knew about this model is because it is a concept. I doubt it has even made it out of the design studio yet.

it maybe is the Countach reborn look on at the back of the Countach and this picture and you cant see that it is similar(the lines)

Lamborghini is bringing in a new model next year to replace the Mucielago. That's why they made/making the Murcielago SV.

Could be the LP540 SPYDER..or a lightweight murci, but then I guess they woud't call it "a new world"..so my guess is that its a whole new model..just hope it isnt some 4door/suv crap.

The rear end of this car look somehow like it's having some inspiration from Reventon. For the SUV thoughts, if you look at the ground clearance level, I doubt it's a SUV. It's probably a new model, perhaps a front engine GT.

A new world? Hmmm. I suppose this rules out special editions, new versions (it's too early for the Murci SV i think, and the 560/4 spyder can't look so different) and I doubt it would be a revival of an old car, since the Miura concept failed so badly. I'm guessing it's a concept of a new body style because as mentioned above, no one's spied any mules just yet. But then, the VAG has so many companies, they could be testing it with any of a million bodies thrown over the top.

if the mule wasn't spotted it doesn't mean its not a production. remember, new gallardo was spied only couple of days before the unveil, and LP640 wasn't even spied at all. There was a Gallardo mule that was rumored to be a V8 that was running around the ring, and Murci SV mule, which we are not sure if its coming or not. For all we know, it could've been a mule for Reventon or new model.

From the tag line I would say that it could still be a concept car, but for sure in a style that they haven't done yet. So I think that an SUV is the most likely. I'm not saying that I like the idea, but that it's the most likely.
Based on the Audi Q7, and with some version of Lambo's V10, or with no drivetrain specs at all.

i'd say it's an SUV. you can just about see the wheels at the sides of the photo, and the perspective makes it look like it has a lot of ground clearance. if you took a similar shot of a Gallardo or similar, you'd never be able to see the wheels like that.
i dunno where they're gonna get sales from tho. with the SUV market the way it is, and with the Q7, Touareg and now the Cayenne as in house rivals, i don't see how it would benefit Lambo to release one. if anything i think it would harm their image (tho in all fairness ppl said the same thing about the Cayenne). i hope they don't do it tho. i hate SUVs
