The Ford Mustang series is set for a refresh for the 2010 model year and various prototypes have been spotted roaming the streets over the past year, however a thick layer of black clad camouflage has always hidden the important details from us. Therefore you can imageine the surprise when the high-spec Mustang Shelby GT500 turned up on the streets with little more than black and white camouflage stickers.
Our spies spotted this Shelby in the heart of Dearborn, with the engineer enjoying the end-of-summer sunshine in the very first top-down photos. The unique Shelby grille and hood scoops are clearly visible, as are the headlamps and other previously hidden styling features.
