Anohter ground breaking move for GM. This is what they need to do to get back on top. Thank you for keeping the exhaust (great design element and shows quality), this is one of the best changes from concept to production i have seen in a while

Wow, this already looks dated compared to its Euro rivals.

Not the prettiest car out there is it? It's too high at the back, and too angular. I like the front of this car, but the back and side profile don't help it at all. It's supposed to be a coupe but it looks more like a Prius type family van.

It's called a sporty profile, get it? Oh wait, it's not like you are gonna buy one, are you?

I'm thinking just like Voss. I love the front, and totally hate the back.

In one word ... UGLY ... in more words it's totally lacking in style ... an unattractive mess of (out of date) sharp angles and monolithic slab sides ... yet another offering defined by the much used description "Yank Tank" IMHO.

I like the concept much, much more. The production version seems to have lost some of it's flare. And....gee... did it get kicked in the arse or what? The back needs either some shape or to be lowered a couple inches. I'll give GM a thumps up for now, but I can't say I'm completely satisfied with it.

Very nice. In the same way of other recent designs of Cadillac, with its own personality. And aggressive shapes.

nice front but the back makes it look like a small suv.

HAHAHAHAHA....The front end looks retarded. The side profile is boring. The rear end is hideous. in reply to Foose1397's comment of "another ground breaking move for GM"... yeah another ground breaking move of how crap their cars are.

For those of us with unblinded, unbiased eyes for style, let's not forget that this site is based in Europe, and 1) the English (though improving) is tacky, and 2) Europeans tend to be the most snotty about cars. I mean just listen to Jeremy Clarkson. Except, there are a couple differences with him. He knows his sh**, and he's funny. Btw, I believe he didn't despise the CTS, which should be an honor. The rest of these people on this site just sound ignorant. Thus, we should ignore their opinions. The new CTS is a fine automobile.

Dunno. I kinda like it because it doesn't look like anything else (other than a Corrado), but the hatchback look takes away from the GT coupe effect for me. And yet the front seems a little formal and sedanlike, and the back would be much nicer either with clear lenses or fewer than five giant red lights and reflectors. If they gotta be red (silly Americans we), they coulda been blade-thin for more drama. Just not quite coming together in the details, like it was designed at 1:18 scale and made fullsize. But I'd take it over a girly CLK, even though that's a true hardtop. It's progress, which for GM is big news.

IDK the front end is as good-looking as ever. It looks more like a quasi hatchback/prius-e thingum from the A-Pillar to the rear though. The engine lineup tells me that it's definitely not going to be priced the same as other "hatchbacks" (the Volvo C30 is also considered a coupe so I kinda had my hopes up) because it would do much damage in that market. But that's just my opinion... Otherwise I think Cadillac's doing great things; I so wish they could make a production version of the Sixteen???

well its a mixed bag in terms of design. great from some angles not so from others. i think the harshness of the straight lines may be a little over the top and possibly may not age very well. it certainly wont be mistaken for anything else. i wish it looked more of a 3 box design rather than a 3 door hot hatch look. the rear really does remind me of Nissan's euro Primera 5 door especially from the rear 3 quarter. still i think its nice to have such a different looking car and i agree with the girly CLK comment. i wish it success here in europe but with such a "sophistcated" marketplace as well as snobbery among the buyers, its gonna be a tough road ahead. they deserve to do well though.

Not as hot as i was anticipating, looks like a CTS midget all pudgy with a big butt. No thanks i'll stick to the 335 coupe or S5 or even G37.

GM has to tone down the car in order to save cost. But it nevertheless is the best sport coupe in the world. Period.
