Impressive. Typically no comments as it's not a V8 or Lambo or sports 20" wheels but is a good step in an environmentally-friendly direction and worthy of applause.

why do egnland get it first??? i think becuase it is an iconic car like the golf they should release it at the same time in the whole world... but i think this would be a very good car for comuting and driving in the city...

I think the golf will be introduced in england first because of the new car taxation scheme which is based on the amount of co2 released by the car, this is why there is an increased demand for cars with green credientials! Hope this helps?

This golf is a good thing next year we pay £450 for road tax on a range rover and around £270 for a golf for one year. It is a total rip off from our stupid government , Dont come to england if you want to be stabbed , abused and totally ripped off .. and paying for all the people from poland on the dole to ride about in mercs .. lol
