Following the CTS Coupe Concept debut in Detroit, we first saw spy photos of a CTS Coupe in April, and now spies have caught the performance V-Series variant. Alongside the current CTS sedan at the Lansing Grand River Plant, production start of the standard CTS coupe and CTS-V coupe is expected to begin in May 2009 with both models launching simultaneously as 2010 models.

It is speculated that the same 550hp 6.2-liter superchanged V8 engine from the CTS-V sedan will carry over to the coupe. In these photos the CTS-V Coupe is distinguished by large cross-drilled brake rotors and centrally-mounted dual exhaust tips. Other notable features include the bulged hood, large sporty rims with low profile tires and, of course, the CTS-V Series grille.

The CTS Coupe will make its world debut in production trim at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

Two noticable bazookars at the rear. Sadly, I don't think 'V' version will offically come to Europe. Maybe just the standard coupe's.

I don't. Cadillac is nothing in Europe. The Germans are safe for a while yet.

"In these photos the CTS-V Coupe is distinguished by large cross-drilled brake rotors" are these rotors hiding in the trunk? or did you just make up the cross drilled part to sound more informed?

wow 550 hp its hard to belive is true, thats alot of hp. but one question why it will be so cheap, i mean this car can go head to head with a ferrari f430 and cost less than a M3

The camo job is all a bit funny... Not much of an attempt to hide the fact that it is the coupe. They obviously want this car to get some attention and it looks like it is working.
