At several places around the globe, Kia is currently testing an all-new almost-luxury sedan codenamed “VG”. Since our first batch of photos, these latest shots are the most revealing yet, as the VG prototype sheds most of its heavy camouflage for less obtrusive coverings on the front and rear ends.
As a result, we can see with greater depth the VG's front/rear ends, overall body shape and body details such as design lines in the door panels. Additionally, we can see LED taillights and projector beam headlights.
The VG is related to the full-size Hyundai Grandeur/Azera and will presumably be powered by the 3.3-litre and 3.8-litre V6-engines. Also possible is Hyundai's all-new 4.6-liter Tau V8 with all-wheel-drive.
The VG is expected to be presented in August 2009
