What is that little dotted line smily mouth under the central grille? Are we really supposed to take this seriously? I don't think I could with that under it's nose!!

Isn't TSI twin-charged, not twin-turbo? Ie - a supercharger and a turbocharger?

TSI is used by the VW group for any petrol engine that features forced induction. Be it a single turbocharger or a supercharger with a turbocharger or twin turbocharger.

For example, there's a 1.8 liter TSI engine that only has one turbocharger, a 1.4 liter TSI with a turbocharger, a 1.4 liter TSI with a turbocharger and a supercharger and now a 1.4 liter TSI with two turbochargers.

This is one of the best new car designs much better than BMW's "flame surfacing".

Indeed, the TSI engines have combined a supercharger and a turbocharger and offer output of between 103 kW / 140 PS and 125 kW / 170 PS while twice winning (2006-07) "Engine of the Year Award"

looks good for first viewing.
I don't understand, why Seat don't leave the airintake-imitates in the frontbumper. I can imagine, it looks better without them. -so they are useless imo

totally agree! those "intakes" on the sides are huge, but they're absolutely useless, so why put them? They don't even help the car look good

What the fudge are you talking about? this is based on the 'Sport coupe'.

the designer must be blind. The fake air intakes to the side of the side lights on the front look stupid and are useless. the designer completely left out the sides of the car as well
August 30, 2008 1:53 pm
these front air intakes are cooling intercooler(s) or redirect air to cool the brakes. So as u can see they aren't useless but your coments are

I dont think that the rear lights are right !
They dont follow the design language of the previous sport models of the IBIZA

Nice car: good ride, lower emissions, looks decent. Reasonable price upon launch. Can't go wrong.
