General Motors has released this first teaser image for the upcoming 2010 Buick LaCrosse whilst simultaneously confirming it will makes its worldwide debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November. The Buick Invicta concept that was first unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year provides the inspiration for the new model's styling. The lack of a press release leaves no further official information to report on leaving us a little space to put our speculation hats on.

A revised version of the front-wheel-drive Epsilon II platform will be hiding beneath the new models posterior, the same platform adopted by the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia. It is believed the power will come courtesy of the 3.6-liter V6 Engine already found in the engine bay of the Chevrolet Traverse and it will be mated to a six-speed transmission system. GM’s Fairfax plant in Kansas is expected to be awarded the task of constructing the new vehicle, with the first models coming off the production line early next year.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I second Joe_Limon! :P

I dunno, this car looks like it may be spiffy in person. I'll keep judgement until the unveiling.

Lexus is the most bland luxury car maker in America. There is nothing exciting about the design of any lexus or toyota fpr that matter.

If the styling stays close to the Invicta concept, then it would look a bit similar to the 5-series taillights.
