We were recently treated to the first official images and details of the all-new Chevy Camaro, which is about the millionth news article to come out about the product. It revealed all the juicy details of what lies beneath that posterior which we had already seen so many times whilst the model was under development. Now the folks over at General Motors have managed to “accidently” leak out the full official sales brochure and here we have it in full resolution form.
Three versions of the Camaro are available: the LS and LT along with the top spec SS model.
The LS and LT are powered by 3.6-liter direct-injected V-6 which is rated at an estimated 300 horsepower, it is mated to a six-speed manual transmission system as standard or there is the optional Hydra-Matic 6L50 electronically controlled six-speed automatic, with TAPshift control available as well.
The top spec SS model benefits from the Corvette's 6.2L V-8 LS3 engine which pumps out 422 horsepower (315 kW) and 408 lb.-ft. of torque (553 Nm) with the standard six-speed TR6060 manual transmission. However, for those selecting the 6-speed automatic receive a slightly different less powerful engine.
