Pictures of the G6 Sedan have been floating around for a while, but so far its open top sibling has evaded the photos. That is of course until today with the fresh shots of the Pontiac G6 Convertible which fails to sport any camoflage on its updated bodywork.

Some minor modifications have already been announced for the 2009 model year, but that did not include the exterior modifications seen on this prototype confirming the model we see before us is for 2010 model year. The freshening includes a new front fascia and air-intakes, the rear also gets a few minor tweaks whilst the interior appears unchanged.

hmmm... I dislike the G5/G6, inferior to the old Grand Am's/Grand Prix's that they replaced. This just looks like a convertible Nissan Altima with a sunflower,I mean sunfire grill.

Wow these guys need some inspiration. For a 2010 car, this is really boring as hell, especially the front. Looks like something that could've been sold back in 2000.

What I fail to understand is how the designers of this car can, at the end of the project even look at it through squinting eyes and say that is a job well done. NO it's a job that's been done with a half a__ed effort from a bunch of irritatingly dull American 'designers' who should be looking after toaster and kettle creation.

How uninspiring can one car be? It has nothing to excite or make you think, wow i want to drive that, i want to be seen in that.. even a VW EOS looks better than that..

It won't even drive well, this is the other disappointment, that despite the dull and predictable looks of a Porsche Boxster, there is no denying it is a sublime drive.

Sack these boring, weedy, uninventive, souless morons and get some help from Pininfarina or some decent coachworks company to make your cars somewhere closer to desirable.

This smells like a rental car.

What's the price? It doesn't look like a "bad" car, just an American Solara.
