I presume everyone else has noticed an increase of these irritating pop-up window adverts, after clicking on the photos, that has suddenly appeared on this website...??

Great car! My son has one, 38 mpg with manual around town. The dash is really cool. He runs the car hard and it just keeps on ticking.

Now that is what I'd called a mild refresh. But like the article says, if it aint broke... I'm glad to see that they added the coupe-style front end to the sedan, though, because I've always thought it should have had that from the beginning. It should also add to the sportiness of the SI sedan as well.

isn't this the JDM front bumper? they just fitted it to the USDM civic. i think..

I like it, like MAB said the Si Sedan should look great. You can't hate on the civic, while its the most expensive, its the best compact(Sport for Si) out there right now, Mazda 3 is good though.

read the article... they only did the bumper and a couple light mods and stuff.. very minimal, but the bumper give an increase in air intake to the engine. :D:D

I am not sure the British one is better. In Type-R form it isn't. It just looks snazzier.

The front bumper of the 2009 USDM Civic sedan has a similar look to the JDM Civic Type-R sedan's front bumper. Link:http://www.worldcarfans.com/2070329.008/all-new-honda-civic-type-r-ja

i prefer the civic sedan in u.k and japan , it looks better in the front and tail . The type R even comes with 230 hp in japan with the same engine of the si that comes with 197 hp only in u.s market . The civic in middle east looks the same as japaneese one but there is no type R or si models . i wish they can stop this inconvenience . There is no left hand driver type R model . i want it so much plz honda

Although I agree with the saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" but these changes are so minor that if you blink, you'll miss them. Good news for the owners of the pre-facelift models though.

The civic is such a great car. I've got a hybrid. Recently getting about 46.8 mpg. I've driven many luxury vehicles and I have to say that the Civic can stand with them when it comes to interior design and comfort. The suspension on the Civic is second to none. I am actually happy to get into my vehicle after driving some other luxury brand vehicles that cost two to three times as much.

JDM spec is better than the Euro Spec which is better than then US spec. (damn, no arrows allowed...) I'm just saying the JDM is best because of the type R model. If there wasn't one, It'll be the Euro spec.
