So long Chevy. You should have stopped at the Camaro. This car is going to cost a metric arse ton. I am not even talking about just the cost of the car, but to repair and maintain even. If this concept lasts until production in 2010, I will be impressed. if Chevy doesn't get ready to fold after releasing this car, I will doubly be impressed.

You haven't been reading about how GM is looking to the US government for a tax break to keep this car at $40K have you? Nor how much this project is costing Chevy? Nor how this is pretty much a make or break given the amount of money that went into making this project? Nor even what it will do to Chevy and GM? Didn't think so.

All hybrids get tax breaks. I even believe the Honda FCX is getting one. Yes, the rear is ugly; but hopefully the production version will show improvements. You can already see improvements through the teaser images of the front end; looks way better than the concept. This will be a new beginning for GM and Chevy; especially on a global scale.

I just hope they change the side profile as well. I want to see the new front end of it badly. I just hope it is not as flat as these pictures are. The rear end is God-aweful.

Strange how no one is even mentioning Ed Welburn, but if this was a BMW all the "rear critics" would be shouting Chris Bangle a hundred times each...

GM really is betting the farm with this car and all the haters on here need to face reality - GM is in fact too big to fail. If it goes bankrupt, the effects will cascade all over the country and take us from our current recession into a full blown depression.
