First Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sells for $2.9 million
Earlier we gave you the knitty gritty details about the new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, and we also revealed the very first model was up for auction. We can now tell you this chassis number one has been sold by auctioneers Gooding & Co. for a grand total of $2.9 million. But don't take my word for it, thanks to WCF user Ecnel we can also bring you a video of the entire event.
Bugatti have already announced the official pricing of the Grand Sport will be €1.4 million euros excluding taxes which equates to just over $2 million, therefore a premium of just under $900,000 or around 45% doesn't actually sound that bad.

You sound like an old communist saying that this car is bad, and yet you would like to have one.
Type supercar showdown bugatti in youtube and watch Clarkson's talking about this car. This car is a masterpiece worth every single $ of it's price. It has F1 performance and can be easily driven by anyone who has license on public roads, driven in comfort and with luxury, isn't it marvelous?
2.9milion$ is someone's money and he can do whatever he want to: buy something, burn them or give to the charity. Try to care about your money and someone others, you socialist!
I have driven 911 S and was on a Gallardo's passenger seat. And I can say that 911 is slow! Really after gallardo's ride it just doesn't feel fun and fast any longer. It is fast as far as you didn't drive faster car. And 911 is on Mitsubishi Evo X performance, and it is twice as cheap! You how many people you could help with that money you have left? So why buy 911? hahahahahaha
