congratulations for Renault for making the ugliest car ever !! I would take a Logan over this without a milisecond of thinking...

My thought exactly! :)
Wait a minute... I already chose the Logan :P
The Symbol/Thalia was always one of the ugliest cars ever made, but people still bought it because it's damn cheap. The Logan might be a bit hard around the edges but it's proportions are way better that this.

exactly what does this SYMBOLISE hmm? well i reckon it indicates Renault's pompous (but theyre not the only ones) attitude that developing markets deserve cars DEVOID of any style and design. it probably took days to get this from "drawing board to showroom" cos they just couldnt be arsed! instead of the usual years it takes for that process. its so depressingly dull i have lost faith in car design, my 21 year old Nissan Bluebird has more interesting design features on it!!!!

I like this car.
I've seen so many of the older and current types of thalia in czech republic, slovakia and poland. So sad, that they aren't available in west-countries like Germany.
The new one is ok. In frontview it looks a bit like the Dacia Logan. But the car isn't ugly I think.
Good luck Renault with this car

this is a car for east europe! i also have seen some of these clios sedan in those contries (slovakia, poland, czech) and it isnt bad! Its cheap, its wht they want and need! For renault and other carmakers, this is the best markets to sell, this one, china, india, south america... there is no demands for co2 emissions, there is no demands for high costs in high tech researchs, there is no demand for expensive security systems... its great! just make some car and sell it!
Did u know that the best selling car of VAG is the Gol? not Golf, GOL! cuz its somthing cheap, affordable for most of less developd countries!

What's wrong with Renault? Kia cars are better looking than Renault's, Hyundai are better, even those Indian Tata prove more fine features lately. Can't they learn anything from other car makers experience - like, say, Fiat - ?! Ugly cars don't sell. Fiat managed somehow and launched a few good lookin'products recently - and here they are! back in business! Hey, Renault: you can't survive on the European market just being cheap!
