How come they managed to give the car such a beautiful interior, but they couldn't design their own steering wheel? I mean, using an Audi V8 was a good idea, but the steering wheel could look a bit more original, couldn't it?

Yeah, you'd think so. Do not take my word for it, but this may be a US-spec version where the airbag is mandatory, likely forcing Spyker to abandon their lovely aluminum 'wheel that looks more ornamental than functional.
