Bang & Olufsen Adds Mercedes-AMG as New Partner

now i no longer like them!

No longer like who...AMG or B&O?

I swear,just about a week ago i was trying to find out what are the possible ways to put bang&olufsen into g55 amg and they told they do not put their system into mercs. THATS GREAT!!!! NOW I CAN HAVE IT.WHAT A F..KING SURPRISE!

is not so bad ,i like stay just to audi but amg is exclusivity ,aston martin the same ! if started to be to much more car marks will be bad ! the exclusivity will be down and b&o will be a mark like the rest !! becarefull !!

The difference is, Mercedes really needs to dump the HK Logic7 they put in almost every premium vehicle. (I don't even want to start on how bad the modern Bose systems are now) While all the important parts of the spectrum are realized, imaging is somewhat garbled. The sound imaging in the B&O A8 is so good, Carlos Santana's "Supernatural" sent chills through my entire body! The little hairs on my neck stood-up during "(Da Le) Yaleo". This is a great step for Mercedes since, after all, they did start the automotive audiophile game with the Bose Betta I in 1991.

Audi certainly has it down with it's audi systems...

its true, the optional B&O system in the A8/S8 is the best OEM system I've ever heard. I would advise Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, Porsche and Lambo to get smart and jump on the band wagon. These marks are expensive and one who can afford them shouldn't have to deal with local aftermarket 12V dealers chopping up their cars to get good sound. I hate to say it out loud but, thank goodness a quality brand like Bang and Olufsen still exists and hasn't been sold into a dismal life of name recognition and crappy mass production. Kudos to B&O and AMG!

Good move...it definitely should be better than the Harmon Kardon crap that I had to pay extra for to improve on the crappy stock system that comes with my car. I've loved almost everything about my MB's except the audio systems...hell the JBL system in the rental Sonta I drove sounded better than the stock system in my E Class...

i love B&O and bose... i think it is great that they are puttnig these stereo systems in cars (now i know that they have been doing this for a while now)

BOSE is horse piss compared to B&O, the only one close to B&O that comes to mind is Lexicon. Also i doubt B&O will become like BOSE because it is a really high end manufacturer and exclusive, just because it is in audis doesn't mean it has lost its exclusivity, in fact it has re-affirmed it with the option price of 7800$ on the A8.

Does anyone know how i can listen to the b and o professional system in the audi a8 because i have wanted to do it for ages and dont know how? can any1 help? thanks, Neil
