Ugh. It is a good thing this system is nothing more than a switch and an LED, otherwise I'd rant about how stupid it is. It's still stupid, don't get me wrong -- just not irritatingly so.

come on now its not stupid. Its a computer system that allows you to use a low amount of fuel when you want and doesnt intrude if you dont want it on. Its a helping tool to save you close to $10 for every hundred u spend. a lot of times the pedal tempts you to push it. This helps remind you to calm down.

I have one question though. If the system is on and you see someone comming from behind you very quickly will the system intrude so much to prevent you from flooring it out of an accident?

Ummm, does anyone smell a lawsuit brewing? But seriously, most drivers don't realize fuel economy is at its worst when accelerating from a stop. Americans NEED a technology like this. It'll inform the masses and get rid of some of these fun but costly driving habits. Good job Nissan.
