onther daweoo engined car ,,, i had a aveo and it kinda sucked from time to time,, but this only looks nice i wonder what kind of performance compared to the aveo it will have

The wheel wells concern me (wheels are just test so can't comment on them)...they are way to tiny to fit any attractive wheel in them. Be prepared to possibly see this thing on rollerskates.

"Well, despite earlier GM statements of mid-2009, new speculations are saying late 2010 for show debut and then in the showroom early 2011." The prototype Beat look almost production ready (no longer test mules with body parts from another car). I think a mid or late 2009 debut looks very possible.

Ahhh.... Anyway, as far as I know the Chevy Beat and the other Chevy mini-car concepts were designed in-house at at GM Daewoo's Design Center in Inchon, South Korea.
