INSTANT CLASSIC. can you imagine what this vehicle would be worth if you could buy it? the only other vehicle released in 1947 that even came close to this was the Bandini 1100. for a good reference of vehicle design in that era, hit this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Pilot

It makes me laugh, how a little car maker using parts from a big one(VW)to make his first car and now 60 years later,
it's buying the big company (VW-Audi-Seat-Lambo-Bentley...)
respect!!! this really is my favourite car maker by far.

Does anyone have an original 1956 356 Speedster lying anywhere that they don't want anymore? This has been my ultimate dream car ever since I can remember.

And to think, Ferdinand wanted a sports car that everyone can enjoy, that is not too pricey, yet fun as hell to drive. Guess Porsche today doesn't like to believe in that philosophy of its creator. But man are they cheap on the used car market!
This car here is on my wall, along with a 1997 911 Carrera S to commemorate the last of the air-cooled 911s.
