Hmm, if the standard version is looking this sporty already, the GTI should be worth a look!
I really like the look of this car... apart from those tailights that already look old.

I am more concerned with the performance as well. The rear lights can look as old and ugly as they want. But if that vehicle performs, I will overlook the small details.

VW has already fitted the 2.0 TDI with CR which makes it clenaer an less noisier than with the old PD.

Looks good. Hopefully they will bring it to the USA fairly quickly not wait 2 or more years like V. No wonder they lost market share here. I like the interior looks very well put together.

OUCH! looks like VW made a BIG mistake, this car looks much too much like the sirocco. Engines will be the same only difference will be the bumper and small changes to the int.

:( they kept the design... they could of done soo much and they gave us this, an enlarged scirocco... it will probably still sell really well becuse it is a golf though...

I wish they'd bring the Scirocco into the States. That car is ruthlessly wonderful of VW to make!
Now, let's see what VW has in the works for the Jetta revision.

I think that they dont have a designer; The only thing different between this car and the previous is the time
it takes to build it! The true golf was the mark 2 and 3! this is really a boring car for the main stream slave to the brand driver!

the idea was to simplfy the design as much as possible as the current golf is costing VW too much to manufacture. Hence the new golf is being released 2 years before VW's normal routine of updating models...

the rear lights look pretty much like the touareg ones, but it doesn`t mean they are ugly.

not that bad. No revolution or fancy design here, but thats not a bad way to make a good car. People still like it and will buy it. Good reliability, decent quality and classic, but modern looking car. I like it.

I agree kimbo ... a very good evolution on the V ... why would they make a radical change to one of the motoring world's biggest success stories? ... the Sirocco was obviously the first model to wear the next generation face of VW and IMHO it's a well balances stylish look ... can't wait to see it appear right across the range
