Statistically, retired seven time Formula 1 world champion, Michael Schumacher, is the most successful F1 driver to hit the sport, however, it seems he hasn't had much luck lately with cars.
Following a recent crash in a Ferrari prototype in Germany and now the latest incident in the UK, Michael has been keeping the Ferrari PR office very busy lately.
The latest incident involves a Kent, UK car salesman, Martin Kingham, 39, who was closing the security gate at his premises, Millfield Motors in Lydd, when a Fiat van came along and struck the end of it. As a result, Kingham, was struck in the leg which sent him spinning onto the bonnet of a nearby car.
Police were called to the scene where both men exchanged details. Police informed Kingham, "That chap is claiming to be Michael Schumacher,” and Kingham replied, “You know what, he doesn't half look like him.”
Kingham was not hurt, and only minor damage was sustained to Schumacher's van. Then a group for Michael showed up and then they left.
Spokesperson for Schumacher confirmed the incident had occurred and that Schumacher had co-operated with police.
Thanks Josh for the tip!
