IMO hydrogen vehicles will not make it to mass production as the infrastructure required to refuel them will never happen ... plus there's the other problems of producing and storing hydrogen in the volumes needed, storage space in the vehicles themselves, and the inherent dangers in dealing with such a highly volatile gas ... electric is a much more attractive alternative auto power source and that seems to be where all the smart money is being invested

So appearantly you haven't seen the home hydrogen generators that Honda is working on in conjunction with Plug Power.

I agree that Honda's idea of a "Home Base Station" is an excellent one..I would also comment that if government's forced the filthy rich oil company to use all those billions of our money/their profits to build the infrastructure required for future hydrogen fuel cell cars..That problem would be solved very quickly..I believe future technologies will also solve the other problems with todays "hydrogen fuel cell" technologies..Besides they are 100% pollution free ! Big plus ! All electric cars also sound very promising indeed !
