Wald W204 C-Class Black Bisson Edition

Wald W204 C-Class Black Bisson Edition

In contrast to the recent Wald BMW M5 kit, that was described as “tastefully crafted” and not “too extreme”, Wald has taken the W204 Mercedes C-Class and crafted an aero kit which clearly expresses their bipolar tendencies.

With flagrant usage of vent or louver design in just about every lower body component, Wald has taken their Black Bisson Edition to a level that will either be loved or loathed the world over.

Despite the picnic table rear wing and vented fender panels, the only redeeming aspect is the rear bumper fascia design (excluding side louvers) with its integrated twin tapered oval exhaust tips.

I've always liked all of the Wald aerokits, aesthetically nice and aerodynamic functional. This one is nice too, but i really don't like the wing. Its far too much like the wing that used to be on the Evolution VII. It looked good on that Evo....however this is a german car and carbon copy japanese type spoiler doesnt go.

nice tuning but the spoiler is really ugly and also oversized in my opinion...

normally wald int. do great kits, but with that wing? theyve successfully turned a high-class german performance car into an 18 year old's ricebox...

This is one ugly C class, not to mention AMG Black Edition. Who would do such horrible thing to a C class, especially the rear wing.

If it was only possable for the public for force a company to shut down, Wald would be top of my list.

This kit a by far the ugliest yet and that wing is so early 90's. get with the times pal.

WALD has failed on c-class project , i could not believe how come they decided to produce what an ugly bodykit like this..C class was not EVO,STI,RX8 ...as an after market company they should have done it better than we thought..please dont do this WALD, you guys got perfect black bison collection on CL class, S class, bentley continental GT ...but no good on W204

The body kit itself is good, but that wing screams RICE... :(

Exactly, i agree with the people who say its a nice kit. Its very nice and not too much of a departure from the regular AMGs styling. But that damn wing...if you google an Evo VII you'll see this wing is 95% similar to the Evo. The kits godly...but i don't know why they would choose that wing given the great(IMO) kits they've put out before.

the wing reminds me of the awsome Mercedes EvoII....

I was thinking thats what they were going for...but the EVO IIs wing had straight up stands more akin to the Ferrari F40. This looks too Mitsu Evo VII.

That wing is yet another gigantic, intruding reason why I would prefer Wald steered clear of German cars. Why would anyone want to buy a German saloon dressed in the garb of a ricebox?

Road cars do not need such wings or so many bloody vents. In fact, rarely does a road car need aerodynamic improvements of any kind, since to capitalize on such improvements requires the vehicle to travel inappropriately fast. So, any argument made to aerodynamic usefulness can sod off -- the wing is useless.

It doesn't sound like the writer of this article likes the kit much, either.
