In collaboration with the world's leading sail manufacturer, North Sails, VW presents the Touareg "North Sails" design study at “Travemünder Woche,” the second largest annual race week in sailing in Germany. With the Audi Q7 Coastline Concept as the previous merger of the boating and motoring worlds, the North Sails study follows the same route, inspired by material details and equipment of the maritime world.
On the outside we find custom 19-inch wheels plus fog lights, outside mirror and reflectors equipped with aquamarine blue colored lenses.
On the interior we find natural teak wood flooring panels outlined with LED lighting strips. Matching the exterior lighting there is aquamarine zig-zag stitching pattern in the white Nappa leather seats and door panels in addition to North Sail branded stainless steel entry strips. Snowbeige white Alcantara headliner lies above while a set of binoculars and compass on the instrument panel round out the interior equipment.
But just in case your sea legs get a little wary, you can try out your road legs with the included North Sails bicycle.
