Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec C Spied on the Ring

Subaru Impreza WRX STi is already a scorcher, but the Type C, recently caught on the Ring, represents a tighter and lighter overall package. Such visual details include the characteristic white multi-spoke wheels, slightly different front spoiler and rear bumper lower splitter/diffuser. However, at the heart of the Type C package is weight savings.
With only a minor horsepower increase expected, the core of modifications are put towards driving dynamics. Like the preceding GD chassis Type C, we expect Subaru has trimmed approximately 70 kg (155 lbs.) via aluminium roof, boot and doors, thinner glass, smaller battery and fuel tank. Additionally suspensions gets a little stiffer, steering a little more responsive, taller gearing and brakes are upgraded to bigger disks with 6-piston calipers.

The regular STI is meant more as an all round touring sports car... Larger fuel tank to go more places..
