On Cayman enthusiasts website caymanclub.net, a few artists renderings have surfaced of what appears to be the 2010 Porsche Cayman S and 2010 Porsche Boxter S. The initial reaction is this is the work of a budding designer, but the fellas over at Jalopnik have gained a bit of inside intel stating that these accurately depict what the final models will look like.
The facelifted models are likely to see similar changes as seen in the recently revealed 911 Carrera which should see some additional tuning to the powertrains. The Cayman S will be boosted to 320hp and 273 lb-ft of torque whilst a bit a German engineering magic will see a improved fuel economy and emission figures.

don't they mean increase in fuel economy. is this a new engine with direct injection?
I think it is for years that Porsche uses direct injection in their engines. Maybe 10 years
Hey! Look at me! I have new head and tail lights... and thats it... probably next Z4 will have better design then this... But good looking non the less.
LOL! Z4 looking better than a porsche Cayman/boxster??!! Don't get me wrong, I like Z4's, just not as much as porsches.
A kinda lazy facelift, but at least they made it look better.
Dont get me wrong, I like Porsche design... especially the Cayman. But, how can I say, its kind of girlish... I prefer the longer hood, wider wheel arches and aggressive looks from the Z4... Even so, like I said, this is a nice looking car... just doesn?t seem bold enough.
boxter is girlish... the cayman though is quite the nice car. come to think of it... even carrera cabriolet's are "girl" cars too now... everywhere i see a carrera, a wife or woman is driving it... slowly i might add lol. back to the cayman though. very nice car and its mid engined too i think (correct me if i'm wrong bout that)
Taillights remind me of a Dodge Viper... and even though the facelift looks minor, the car looks much better.
Hello guys, this is not a new car, only a facelift of the current one!!!
I do not like the rear mufflers. the ones now are great anyway. One great thing is a new engine when it already has a great soundtrack.
I wish they'd use a bit more design cues from the classic 550 spyder. A sort of less is more approach.
I agree. It's looking like a facelift, but very nice idea. it fits in every way!
