Where in the world are those luxurious parking spaces (second pic) located? The spaces in the UK and elsewhere are a lot smaller!

Sounds like a great idea in theory.

Just £5 000 for a fully capable, frugal less-than-1 tonne city car? This is not as far-fetched an idea as major auto manufacturers make it seem. So far, manufacturing a car has followed the basic principle of "more is more"; that is, more room, more robots, and more capacity makes more product. The great thing about Gordon Murray is that he is a brilliant problem-solver, which is largely a result of his wealth of creativity. By closely considering your choice of materials and manufacturing techniques, it is possible to drastically undercut the major auto-manufacturers who all have locked-in mass-production methods. I hope GMD all the best! I'm anticipating a plug-in city EV.

You're right actually, but the truth is we don't Gordon Murray to do that, we can just start importing those wonderful Kei cars they sell in Japan.
