Tuning companies are catching on to the all powerful teaser image, and German tuner, Lumma Design, have issued theirs - with the controversial BMW X6 model. Love it or hate it, the BMW X6 Coupe Crossover is an interesting car and Lumma's CLR X650 is no different – yet in a different character.

With a beefy front bumper fascia, which contains no less than 6 air vent openings, the entire kit gets a dash of aggression with side skirts and quarter panel leg vents plus revised mirrors, however, the added attitude comes from the 40mm suspension drop with the 23-inch arch filling black dished wheels.

As one of the first tuning companies to put together a dramatic styling kit for the X6, the CLR X650 takes the whole X6 hatchback coupe vibe and molds it into its own - projecting a new persona with just simple a few simple add ons.

We are skeptically intrigued to see more, but isn't that what a teaser is supposed to do?

needs bigger wheels/fenders/wheel wells. That way it looks more like a hard core off road machine.

What's the matter? This is definitely staying true to the complicated, rich ethos of the X6: stupid. But not just stupid; it's stupid on a wild mix of overlapping levels. People are always criticizing tuners for making these German SUVs (or CUVs or SACs or w/e) more ostentatious and more aggressive and more useless off-road, but why? The people these cars are marketed towards are arrogant, selfish, and think driving defensively is "a gay waste of time." They're the sort that retaliate with vengeful malice after the most minor of motoring slip-ups and think nothing of tailgating, even on crowded city streets, because they're a safe three feet in the air and have all-wheel-drive. If I were a child -- that is, if I would stoop to favour an SUV -- why not go for broke and get something like this? It's useless, eye-catching, ugly as sin, but, in summation, sorta the point.

Even the tuners don't know what this car is supposed to be.

What a ghastly waste of metal.

i don't get it. what's there to hate about the X6?? i kinda like it (not this modified one, but in general lol). i've actually seen it in real life too, and it looks unique and it stands out quite nicely :D. very sporty, yet has a rugged side to it.

I'm with you carcrazy ... I'm not a lover of SUV's but at least the X6 has some style compared to all the boring boxy looking ones ... and this interpretation just looks sensational ... or at least it would, in any colour other than Kermit Green

Count me in, i love the X6 too. It's a car with really interesting lines and different to simple cuts and lines. This is so much like the Matrix movie - complicated to follow yet very intriguing and different to the rest.

Is this a 4WD or a Coupe? Neither. It getting more uglier. I rather spend money on the Porsche Cayenne Twin Turbo. Because it is faster, and can handle better on both off/on the road.
