Early last month Porsche unveiled the facelifted 997 for the base Carrera and Carrera S. Then three weeks later they followed up with the all-wheel-drive models, the Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S. With the remainder of the 997 variants still waiting to be revealed, members of TeamSpeed.com caught the yet to be released Targa 4 and Targa 4S model at a press event in Spain. In the coming weeks/months, we can expect to see Porsche slowly intermittently reveal the facelift for the top range GT3, GT2 and Turbo models.

NOOOOOOOOO why would they add that strip of red for the taillights???? they probably aren't even functional and if they are that's just ridiculously ugly... yes i remember the old old carrera's with that strip of red, but it actually flowed across the back unlike this.
the old C4S was much better, this one..just isnt right, may be with the pre-restyled tail lights, it would have been better..it only looks good in the pic where we see the back of the white carrera 4 convertible..
I love the red-strip...its flows nice enough for me. I love it, Porsche just keeps it coming. Back up what RS5 said, cant wait for the Turbo with the PDK :).
agree guys, bring on the TT and TT-S. With the PDK it will be as perfect as can be, but i am afraid we will ahve to wait till the end of 2009 :(
i like the new design... the 997 targa is like my favourite prosche on their lineup
Porsche have perfected the art of meaningful face-lifts by giving buyers more than just cosmetic changes! They have the habit of adding about 20bhp to every engine when doing a face-lift and I kinda like that! :)
yay...they changed the rear light...!???of wait..?nm...yawn....porche = apple...
i'm not to keen on the cell phone sitting next to that good looking satnav screen... for that price, I'd hope they could throw in a Bluetooth link...
