Why on Earth did Alfa Romeo limit the number of cars to 500 in the first place? The hype would have increased and the brand awareness would have spread further had they sold more cars..

Because this car built in other's perfomance platform and it is quit limited luxury.

short supply might increase demand and confer "prestige", but an Alfa Romeo is a pile of junk, belonging to the same category as volvo and saab. Continental cars? Yes. Luxury motoring? No. Prestige? Hell no. For try hards? Yes.

Is Alfa in condition where no way to make their own RWD platform and in addition to make a sports car with (newer gen.) 2.o - 3.2 litre engine?

what a wrong info, the California is already based on the current Alfa Romeo 8C, which is based on a Maserati Gran Turismo shorter chassis. don't u have some real info?

Both wrong. 1. Nothing done with the California platform so far. 2. California do not share the platform with Granturismo

Should I repeat: this Alfa is built "Coupe" or "Sportiva" which is Maserati of course. "Granturismo" I wrote.

This car is a fine piece of artwork. It's one of those cars I'd probably be too scared to drive on road, not due to my bad driving habits, but for fear of others drivers. Absolutely beautiful!
