Scirocco R-Series Teaser is Indeed a Fake
Our suspicions confirmed! After receiving some “emotional” emails and reviewing the comments made under our original story, we decided to take a closer look at the image.
Using the suspected Scirocco GT24 press image, the perpetrators of the fraud gave it away by attempting to cover over the 'www.scirocco.de' web address located on the front bumper.
Like DNA at a crime scene, brush stroke artifacts became visible on the front bumper after boosting the levels in Gimp (open source image manipulation software), and the truth was revealed.

"the evil twin" sentence gave it away at the first place, I'm sure they've come with something a bit more original than copying words from Sportka commercials.
