VW please don't make me laugh. The world doesn't need this POS that you sell for unbelivable prices around here.

I agree with you, Bernardo. The Brazilian car market are getting ridiculous. Our Golf is an older 4th generation face-lifted, which result is horrible. Peugeot just launched here a face-lifted 206, reproducing some of the 207 parts and style, and they call it... 207... It's a bad joke. They're kidding with Brazilian consumers, who are ignorants about products and their prices around the world. We have to think about how much time we waste working to pay for POS cars. It's revolting!

@gugas: You are wrong. Brazilian consumers knows that our cars are overpriced. We just don

If VW do Brasil builds Polo V in Brazil, there won't be much room between the Gol and Polo. Therefore, I believe that the next-gen Fox should become a proper mini MPV rather than a tall hatchback.

Next Polo will grow up and become a more upscale car. The Gol is the sensible choice for customers that don't want or don't need that luxury. It's the affordable and spacious alternative

what a pile of nonsense. the south american market just like the eastern euro market gets manufacturers sending over cars that they would die of embarassment if sent to other "sophisticated" markets.
they should be ashamed of them selves with substandard style and over hyped hyperbole the tag to their products. vw has has a style bypass for generations. overhyped arrogant and up its own arse. thats vw in a nutshell!
the south americans deserve better than this pile of crap. even Korea has cars that average joe is more than happy to own. cos beacuse they are accomplished vehicles no matter what people say.....

I dont't get the point? You are not beeing forced to buy a GOL, are you? If you want a deluxe 2009 VW-Model (european style) buy a Jetta, Jetta Wagon, Passat, Passat Wagon, Beetle or a Touareg.

@gugas: You are wrong. Brazilian consumers knows that our cars are overpriced. We just don't have any option. Beyond giant taxes, are carmakers taking advantage of market growth (30% in 2007, 2.5 million units sold) to increase their profits by an unfair way. The cheapest car in Brazil cost ?6500 in 2003 and now costs ?11000.
