Lotus Eagle Teaser Image Surfaces

This year Lotus are celebrating their 60^th anniversary and what better way than to introduce a brand new model at their home motor show in London. We have been limited to a heavily camoflaged model in the past making styling lines difficult to make out, but now as the debut approaches we have been treated with this new teaser image.

Those of you with a good memory may also know that this isn't the first teaser to be released, back at the time of the Geneva Motor Show, Lotus revealed a single photo showing the front part of the chassis, with the suspension and brake system in view.

Power for the rear-wheel-drive sports car is expect to come from a mid-mounted Toyota sourced 3.5 liter V6 and the model will only be available as a rear wheel drive. Pricing should start at around £46,000 when it is launched early in 2009.
