Italian design house Pininfarina has released a teaser sketch today of the “Pininfarina Hyperion”. Based on the Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe, the project is a tribute to the great style, size and overall presence of pre-war cars ultimately representing the heritage of the two brands.
Set to be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours in August, the project was commissioned by a private client just like the one-off Ferrari P45 also designed by Pininfarina.
After the Hyperion unveiling, Pininfarina dtates they will also unveil an electric car concept at the Paris Motor Show in October. Also on display will be the Geneva revealed Sintesi concept, Ferrari California and Maserati Quattroporte facelift. The Pininfarina booth will be quite busy this year.
