On the market since 2005, the brutally quick 420hp Cherokee SRT8 was caught by spy photographers. Wearing some camouflage on the front end which is most likely hiding some mild changes to the grille and front bumper fascia, the pictures also show the SRT8 pulling a trailer. Currently, the Cherokee SRT8 is not available with a tow package, especially with its centrally mounted exhaust pipes positioned right where the ball hitch would be located.
Although the circumstances, outside of defensive engineers and the camouflage, made it very difficult for the spy photographers to take pictures, they managed to get a blurry shot of the rear which shows a make-shift trapezoidal exhaust pipe integrated into the right side of the rear bumper fascia.
Although several updates to the 2009 Grand Cherokee have already been made public, there is little info floating throught the grapevine about the changes seen here. Perhaps we could see an unveiling this fall or midway through the model year.

It looks like a brick, it leans like a fat man on a McDonalds counter, and it probably uses enough fuel to heat an entire city block during December.
This is pure American gluttony.
That was poetry! And very true.
But who's going to buy this thing? Maybe 6-7 years ago, maybe, but now?
