Are you kidding me!?
"The additional fuel savings will be compensated through careful economical driving style such as strong concentration..."
So if I "concentrate" hard enough in a TDI, it will use less diesel fuel!? Wow, European diesel pinheads will love to hear this. Be careful though, if you go over 58MPG, you'll start crapping your pants...

hahaha Audi logic. "The car will also go faster if you use your imagination"

Strong concentration as in not stepping on the gas too much or overtaking i would assume

yes, hybrid-gasoline cars are no match for diesels when it comes to average fuel consumption in real life, not in nice numbers on paper.

LMS, you'll still need some sort of fuel to produce electricity to charge up your Fetish. Oh and I think it won't do 1 650 km without any stops to charge its batteries...

I don't mind stopping and plugging it in, and yes, we are shifting fuel from cars to power-plants.
But if you consider how effective the Lithium Ion battery is, we would still be saving energy.
'Saving Energy' - what an odd phrase, we're saving by wasting less... it's like having a minus in your bank account, you're still spending money that isn't yours...

this one will be a little bit harder with those new COMMON RAIL versions of this engine, previous UNIT INJECTOR (german PD) was better in efficiency but this CR is less brutal and quieter and most important is less expensive to build!!!
Even better would be 1.9 TDI
