This is a good example of how small details can ruin nicely proportioned cars. Those headlights look like the designers had a mental block, the grill is as imaginative as a square and the rear looks like it's been designed using transparent paper and some US Honda Civic pictures. Nissan is starting to screw it's designs, first the shoe-box GTR, now this. I sincerely hope the 370Z will not be this ugly!

Thats what I was thinking. I think they had a mental block with the details. Why in the world is there an accent with the headlights! I hope the 370z will not share the same headlight designs, I have high hopes for that car.

i saw in a magazine the new redesigned (or proposed design) of the new 350Z or the 370Z as you call it lol... it has the same kinda styling cues except not as much (if that makes any sense)... from what i saw... the front head lights stay the same, but with an additional "curve" (like in these front lights... that little extension).

I like it. But, just the fact that manufacturers CAN stamp out body-panels with this degree of precision and detail now is enough to make me happy...so maybe I'm not the best judge of "traditional" aesthetic appeal...
