On a TV program a few months back they were reporting on new BMWs and what comming out soon , on one of the notice boards they had all the cars like X6,X7 and then the camera pointed to X10 so has anyone heard what this may be? ..

Is this just a 5-Door 5 Series? I'm OK with that I guess, I'm just not sure it needs a new name. I'm all for having a sedan like driving experience with a little more room in the back. It's kind of like the opposite approach to the X5-X6. They are pushing towards a catch all middle of the road vehicle that does everything. A sportier, better handling SUV and Sedan with SUV like space. I'd pick one and go with it if I was them. Personally, I'd rather have the 5er 5 door than the X6.

I wish the guy who did this rendering were hired by BMW. I saw the X6 at the Geneva auto show and this rendering is a lot nicer.

This should be a CLS competitor. Is it a coupe, is it a sedan, is it an SUV? Who knows, its the amalgamation of them all. IMO, it should be easier on the eyes than that X6 thing.

bmw sell more cars than ford these days and to make sure they dont lose that gri they are even offering cars in hatchback formn as well as salon as so not to miss sales. but as to not appear like a common man when your neighbour asks, "is that the hatchback version?", you can smugly reply "no no, dear man, a hatchback??? this is the future, this is a Progressive Activity Sedan".

seriously. PAS, SAV SUV Coupe..It's pretty irritating. At least Mercedes realized this (R class Grand Sports Tourer to simply SUV)

Finally hatchbacks start come in premium segment. Great. New Opel and Laguna not cover the need in market. Best of all could be same body concept on a 3-er size platform
