Over the weekend up popped a few new photos on Camaro obsessed Forum Camaro5 of the upcoming 2010 Camaro SS. The silver prototype was spotted on the set of a new NBC televesion program starring Christian Slater and features the predominantly placed SS badge on the right hand side of the front fascia and another on the rear bumper.

The high-spec model will only get subtle exterior modifications from the regular Camaro, we see the additional front spoiler and for the first time we get to see a Camaro with a sunroof. We aren't quite sure about the silver color though, black seems to suit this car much better.

These new photos now make you wonder what model Bumblebee is in the new Transformers movie, the recent spottings of the autobot showed a slightly reposition air vent built into the hood which many recently believed was a preview of the Camaro SS, but these new photos throw that theory out the window.

Bigger wheels suit this version more than those smaller ones on the Leaked photos. Looks pretty good overall.

i feel a bit disappointed about seeing what looks like production headlamps, instead of the projector-type ones seen in previous prototypes of the Camaro.. this look like regular-mustang-like headlamps... the projectors made it look meaner...

watching the development of this car, it's nice to see most of the lines being refined and optimized to perfection... but the side thing behind the drivers door (vent without a hole?) just looks pathetic. So far between this and the Challenger, the heavy weight Challenger has my vote for aesthetics.

Yeah those shark gills are retarded and pointless, i am curious if the hoodscoop is actually ram-air functional like on the prev. gen or if its capped off with plastic like on the mustang GT and is there for the same purpose as the gills, to remind you of GM quality.

this car is going to feel old when it finally makes production. We've seen so much of it yet can't buy it. Honestly.....I thought it already was in production!

For all those who are bored with this car already just wait until u see it in person. Pictures never do a great looking car justice. I see corvette pics all the time and I still give them a second or third look every time i see one and this "Damn that looks good". I don't see how people can get bored of of car by looking at pictures and reading rumors. You see pictures of lambos all the time but when you see it in person your still like wow that looks good right your not like "wow I see that car in spy shots all the time on the internet so it doesn't look good anymore. And finally if a car design looks good to you than it looks good always not just when you first see it so if you liked the concept but now you are bored with the design that just doesn't make sense. Wait until you see the car in real life and sit in it and you will get excited.
