Here is the the all new Peugeot 3008, spotted by one of our army of spy photographers doing a bit of secret hot-weather testing in the middle of nowhere, it is Peugeot's answer to the Renault Scenic, Volkswagen Touran and Citroen Picasso.
The small glimpse we get in these photos of the new 3008's grille reveals styling will stay very much in line with Peugeot's other double "0" model the 4007 meaning this model will get an almost mini-SUV like appearance.
The name is the first clue as to what lies beneath this MPV's posterior, a modified version of the 308's platform will be used for the all-new vehicle and it will feature a full three-row seven-seat layout and a much higher roof, but don't expect anyone larger than 10 year old child to fit into those two rear seats. Under the hood we expect to find the a pretty similar engine line-up to the 308, new generation petrol and HDI engines ranging up to a displacement of 2.4-liters are believed to be in development for the new 3008.
