if it's competing with the CLS63 AMG and BMW M6 then it better be good for Audi's sake

And hopefully the RS7 doesn't weight quite as much as the RS6. People keep pointing at it and making snorting noises.

if they are going to limit the power for sake of not competing with the Lamborghini Gallardo, then what is the point of having it in the first place

I agree. It would more sense for resources to be put into a diesel version of this car to get some mileage from the Le Mans winning Audis and also take a route that Lamborghini can't.

I heard somewhere that a TDI engine would be too heavy and it would make the car unbalanced. Then again someone also said the same thing about putting a V10 FSI engine in it and here it is, so who knows, maybe we will see a V12 TDI in the R8 as its flagship model. Also, I wonder if when the new A8 comes out, the W12 will be replaced with the V12 TDI. I think that would put the car into a niche of its own if that was done.

hahaha I always thought M7 was a die hard german fan. But I agree, the R8 is way over hyped.

No the M7 is BMW fan only. And half the time I don't know what he is trying to say. I will wait for that M7 to come out becouse I know it will beat GT-R :)
