Here it is, Top Gear has officially announced who will present the USA version, or at least the pilot show in case the US public collectively decide to ignore the show. The presenters will be Adam Carolla, Tanner Foust and Eric Stromer.
Adam Carolla, best known for his radio show (the Adam Carolla Show of course) and for presenting and producing Crank Yankers, will be leading the pack. More importantly than his presenting skill is that he owns two classic Lamborghini's, Ferraris, Maseratis and an Audi S4.
Tanner Foust is possibly the least famous but most regarded when it comes to driving skills. He spends most of his time stunt driving and has worked on films such as The Bourne Ultimatum, Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift and The Dukes Of Hazzard. Besides that he also does rally driving, ice driving, drifting and time attacks and he'll be pulling into the studio parking lot with his BMW M3.
And last but not least is Eric Stromer, the US version of doctor slow, who drives a Toyota Camry Hybrid and is Adam's DIY side-kick on his radio show. Whether 'The Stig' will see a US copy was not mentioned but maybe Tanner will see to the professional hoonage.
