I personally like hydrogen fuel cell cars...its the best bet for alternative fuels. I just hope the casing or what-not on the Fuel-cells are strong enuff to withstand all kinds of strong impacts.

There's so much solutions with in-car hydrogen production (rechargeable batteries and water needed) which lets not to use fuel cells (they are the most expensive part of hydrogen car). But when looking at solutions like this one it seems that someone trying to keep slowing the process of appreciation or validation of hydrogen as a fuel.

Nice. Now, how about getting serious with the CURRENT technology and letting the U.S.A. enjoy the 170 bhp clean diesel with a manual transmission and 4-motion. Why must we wait for 2-year old technology and great mileage. Is VW selling so many Tiguan TDIs that none are available for export to the U.S., or is some marketing bore in some secluded office sold on the idea that "Americans don't want diesels?" SERIOUSLY - bring 'em over - they will sell!
