If it wasn't for my mad obsession with Top Gear, I wouldn't be posting this topic, but I suspect most of you share it as well, since it's only the number one television show in the universe that happens to be about cars.
In the above video clip, Richard Hammond, who is promoting his new book, descends upon his lovely British estate in his Porsche and cheekily boasts about how difficult life is as a presenter on Top Gear - while sauntering up his driveway littered with collectible cars and greets Top Gear dog, his happy contented children and mechanically inclined wife. The Hamster continues – with long hours, little rewards, it's not the dream life most would expect. In fact the book is about how he got the job at Top Gear and about his near death experience racing a jet car that left him with brain damage, and then reconnecting with his life again.
Somehow, despite the near death stuff, I don't believe him.
