The new Ford Fiesta is nearing its market launch, meaning that the outgoing model will start seeing its 'farewell' models. Latest addition is a new Ford Fiesta ST 500 Special Edition with Panther black metallic paint, 17 inch, 11 spoke black alloy wheels, silver 'U' bonnet and side stripes and an absolute first for any Fiesta, namely red brake calipers.
Power comes from the feisty 2.0 liter 150 hp engine while the lowered and stiffened sports suspension, close ratio, short shift gearbox and sports-tuned steering give the driver a thrilling ride. The U shaped stripes are an interesting throw-back to the Escort RS2000 from the 1980's.
Inside Ford has installed a Sony audio system and ebony leather heated seats. The Ford Fiesta ST 500 will be limited to 500 units and will be priced from GBP 15,000.
