The Lexus IS F was recently launched in Europe and the States following the successful introduction to its native Japan last year where it is going head to head with the likes of the BMW M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG. Despite a pretty formidable package under the hood where you will find the 417bhp 5.0-litre V8 engine mated to an eight-speed paddleshift transmission, the exterior styling does not show the aggression to match.

This is where renowned Japanese tuner Wald International comes in with this new tuning program for the high performance machine. The most notable feature on these newly surfaced photos is the addition of a new huge rear diffuser which optimizes air flow under the car, other features on the rear include additional air vents on the sides of the apron and a new rear wing. The front fascia gets small modifications with the a new front spoiler lowering the ride height and additional air-intakes on the sides.

Wow, that's tacky. (Even for ricers.) The IS-F is an attractive car; what they've accomplished here is transforming a movie starlette into a common whore.

*One addendum: Ricer-tuned cars can look better than stock. Oftentimes, these skilled tuners apply the same ricer ethos to inappropriate cars (like that gold Bentley Continental GT), making the challenge of improving on aesthetic properties more daunting -- still possible, but difficult. Wings, wide bodies, skirts, vents, slits, gills, and grills work well on some cars and less well on others. The IS-F is brilliantly suited for these sorts of aesthetic upgrades; however, this particular example is a bit of a let-down. A high schooler could've done a better job with MS Paint. Honestly, how could you muck it up?

You guys all forget how important aerodynamics are to any car and that the Key Top Tier Japanese tuners make "bodykits" that actually serve a purpose like this one. I hate cheap tack bodykits and spoilers but these peices are another type of product altogether.

i saw this car in the street the other day, and from back it looks awful...it looks like a baddly modified car with a disgustingly abnormal body kit...

I can achieve that look for $800, but again... WHO would want their car to look like that?!?

It looks more... "sporty". I've seen one parked a few blocks from me (stock), and I must admit I was not that impressed. Looked like an IS with odd tailpipes and bunch of sloppy ducts for air.

oh.....But not of the best because other opponents such as M.Benz C63AMG,BMW M3.Their horsepower were more than the LEXUS IS-F.............

The stock car is ugly. This car is just plain fugly! If you had $75k to spend on a car, with all the choices out there, who in there right mind would spend it on this??? Congrats Lexus, you just made another fake sports sedan. And Wald is probably the worst aftermarket tuner out there alongside Lorinser.

This is supposed to be Lexus's M3-beater, but as it is, both stock and tuned IS-F are plain ugly.

Lexus should have left the IS250 design alone and kept IS-F as discreet as German examples.
