Over the last few years we have seen a number of car related movies that have really taken our fancy including "Cars" from Pixar Studios along with last years blockbuster "Transformers". So next up for the automotive enthusaist crowd is "Death Race" starring hardnut Jason Statham which will arrive at the big screens in August. Now to entice us all in and add to the pre-release euphoria, images showing the pretty armoured up cars from the movie have been unearthed by Jalopnik.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil, ALien Vs Predator), Death Race is set in the future and centers around ex-con Jensen Ames (Statham) who is forced to race after being framed for a gruesome murder he didn't commit. We'll let the pictures speak for themselves on why this is called death race, but as usual Statham has to put up with bad guys trying to kill him left, right and center yet again.
