The exterior is hideous, but the interior looks fine. What's up with the name, though? Lancia Vulva...

Aurelia for replacement of current is stupidly flat in taste.

I like this a lot. It would be different than the many "me too" cars on the road. It is a great modern rendention of the classic, upright seating, European sport coupes of the 60's and 70's. I really don't know what they called this class east of the Atlantic. I have always liked them, though, and wished that more would have been exported to the USA. Nissan did a really nice concept of a car like this a few years ago. I'd like a small coupe that doesn't make me feel like I am in an enclosed go-kart (when I want zoom-zoom I ride a motorcycle).

We call this class a "Coupe" really, just like that, no classification further, and yet, probably were these cars, I mean Fulvia like coupes the most desireable car type in Westtern Europe, so splendedly presented in French or Italian Films, or British from 1950-s.

I'm really happy to find that question of V6_Stink. My cars true-love are these coupes.

The films were about the only context of these coupes in the US. I can't think of any real substantial market attempts in the huge gap between British roadsters and American muscle cars. The Nissan concept was the Foria in 2005. The name seems like a nod to classic Lancias. Companies are all looking for "white space" in the market. Maybe this is it, instead of 8 more types of wierd cross-overs with still pathetic fuel economy.

It is strange, V6s_stink, same was in Soviet Union. All they knew was from Italian and Frech films. Now on thisis a white space in market. You are right. The revival that part of automobile culture seems to be very right thing to do. Ahaa, in Mercedes (it is gossip so far described in veri this site) is growing an idea to turn the A-class and B-class to little sporty RWD-s. It mean coupes too and Alfa is about coming back to US market and with Brera think. And yet it is not so far away that Citroen and is coming too. You have an interesting time in car market future.
