The new Seat Ibiza has impressed many Europeans with a striking new look for the small car, and with more 'fun' performance models on the way things can only get better. But with more speed and 'fun' comes the increased risk of crashing, and this is where Euro-NCAP comes in.
The independent crash test specialists have taken a new Seat Ibiza to their test center and have come to the conclusion that it is one of the safest cars in the small car segment. The Ibiza walked away from the wreckage with a 5-star occupant rating, 4-star child safety rating and a 3-star pedestrian rating.
The Seat Ibiza comes standard with driver and passenger airbags, head-thorax side airbags, ABS, TCS (Traction Control system), front seatbelt pre-tensioners, front passenger seatbelt warning buzzer and rear Isofix child seat anchorage points.
