VH (Vertical-Horizontal) is the name of the bonded aluminum chassis not the engine. Its a S-O-T-A modular assembly that can be easily changed to provide different driving dynamics for different vehicles. Bonding, as opposed to welding, provides a significant advantage in stress distribution. However, materials and construction are considerably more expensive. This technology is widely used in aeronautics and F1.

it's a combination including the merits of a 'vertical engine' with the piston stroke 'vertical' and 'horizontal engine' with the piston stroke 'horizontal'

Great car, the HP boost is well deserved, should be even better on track now. I imagine the DB9 should benifit from a horsepower increase in the near future, to maintain the AM hierarchy. I love whats going on at Aston these days.

A V8 engine does'nt suit this car's character. Which is why I prefer the V12 Vantage to this car.
